US President bands Twitter

Incumbent US President Donald Trump's Twitter account has been named. The account has been banned due to statements made on Twitter and provoking the public and violating the rules of Twitter. On January 8, 2021, Twitter posted a note on its official Web Blog listing the reasons for its move.

@realDonaldTrump account, followed by 88.7 million men, marks the first time an American president's Social Media account has been banned during his tenure.
